VIDEO THREE
Intro to Beauty Styling
If it's been a while since you switched up your look, this video is for you. Doing the same routine for the past 5-10 years ago is not doing you justice.
In this video, you'll learn how to find beauty inspirations to help you switch up your look on a regular basis.
Step 1: Ask yourself the following questions:
- How much time do you want to spend getting ready?
- What is your style? Think of 2-3 words that describe how you want to feel after getting ready. (flirty, sexy, natural, feminine ext.)
- What feature do you like to enhance the most? (skin, eyes, lips, hair?
- Does anyone come to mind that does a great job at creating your desired look? If not, brainstorm a celebrity or someone you follow on IG.
Step 2: Time to go on a beauty search. Save beauty images of REAL women that inspire you (screenshots on phone -or- Pinterest) Search that person specifically and save any of the looks you love.
Your goal is to choose 3-5 images.

Step 3: Now that you have images saved cross reference your previous questions and ask yourself the following:
- Do the images you saved fall in line with the time you want to spend?
- Do the images, styles and looks enhance the feature you want to enhance?
- Would you actually wear this style?
- Does the person you saved have similar coloring to you?
- Is your inspiration a similar age to you?
After watching my examples of how I look at makeup inspiration, go back and try to notice all the little details.
Step 4: Time to try a new style. Choose the inspiration look that is furthest from your current everyday and try it out!
Makeup is not about doing the same routine over and over again. It's about switching things up and having a unique style, understanding your features and the products you need so you can be empowered by your own beauty knowledge.
